Guimarães, where Portugal was born in 1128 by our first king Dom Afonso Henriques. The King’s Statue and the Castle will take you to a medieval city together with a magnificent 15th century palace build by the Dukes of Bragança.
Braga, the city of archbishops, with 2000 years of history. The religious and the old shows up at every corner. The Old Cathedral, Sameiro and Bom Jesus are a “must see”.
